Itinerary: Eclipse Of The Century 2009 Tour. 16-24 July 2009 (8 nights)

A very special three country cruise aboard the Costa Allegra during which you’ll visit the lovely island of Cheju (South Korea); the moving city of Nagasaki and Kagoshima (home to one of the world’s most active volcanoes), before sailing onwards to witness the longest Solar Eclipse of the 21st century.

Witness the Eclipse from the centre line at 130 E 29.25 N for a totality lasting 6 mins 21 seconds

THE ECLIPSE

The target viewing site is on the centre line very near to 130 E 29.25 N. Duration here will be 6 minutes 21 seconds. As with any eclipse cruise this is a "soft" target in that your ship will be able to move around should the need arise due to weather.

YOUR SHANGHAI HOTEL

You will be staying at the luxury Sofitel Hyland Hotel located in the heart of Shanghai’s shopping district on Nanjing Road for one night pre-cruise and one night post-cruise.

N.B. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and are per person based on double occupancy

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS - There is a deposit of £450 per person required at time of booking to hold your cabin. A second deposit of £450 is due November 17, 2008. Final Payment is due by January 17, 2009.

There is a £250 fee if you cancel your cruise prior to November 17, 2008. This fee will be deducted from your refund. If you cancel between November 10, 2008 and January 17, 2009 a cancellation penalty of £450 will be deducted from your refund. If you cancel between January 17, 2009 and May 17, 2009 a cancellation penalty of 50% of the total of the cruise cost, and 100% of tour add-ons will be deducted from your refund. If you cancel after May, 17, 2009 there is no refund.
