Northern Lights Tour to Norway 15-19 March 2012 (4 nights)

Day 1   Arrive in Tromsø, Norway

Arrive at Tromsø airport - the capital of Arctic Norway.  Check into the Radisson SAS Tromsø (a first class hotel) for 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. 

Day 2   Tromsø. Chase the Northern Lights

After breakfast take time to explore the town of Tromsø with its many historic wooden houses and Cathedral, the most northerly in the world.  Enjoy a Welcome Lunch followed by a Northern Lights photography workshop led by our expert professional guide to help you get the most out of your Arctic experience.  This evening, we spend our first of three nights in search of the Northern Lights.

Day 3   Tromsø. Chase the Northern Lights

Spend the day exploring the winter landscape in Tromso or take an exhilarating ride on a dog sled or snowmobile for a truly native experience (additional supplements apply).  Again seek out the magnificent Northern Lights this evening.

Day 4   Tromsø. Chase the Northern Lights

Relax in Tromsø. You might want to take the cable car up Mount Storsteinen, 421 metres above sea level for a spectacular panoramic view over Tromso and the surrounding mountains.  In the evening we chase the Aurora Borealis for the final time.

Day 5   Depart Tromsø

You’ll be staying 4 nights at the centrally-located Radisson SAS Tromsø on a bed and breakfast basis. Excellent shopping and lively restaurants  are just moments away.

• 3 nights’ fully guided excursions by private coach with our expert local guide

• 4 nights’ hotel accommodation at the centrally located Radisson SAS Tromsø (a first class hotel) with breakfast daily.

Single room supplement: £185.00

If you wish to extend your trip, you can do so for an additional £76 person per night (for a Twin room) or £135 per person per night (for a Single room).

Optional Tours: Snow mobiling and/or Dog sledding (further details to follow)

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
There is a deposit of £79.50 per person required at time of booking to hold your place.
The final balance will be due 12 weeks prior to departure.
